The hotel was beautiful with lots of unique rooms. The room we had included a refrigerator, tea and coffee making equipment, and a sitting area. The location of the property was beautiful and amazing, in the forest...

Breakfast was a highlight, with Mark's famous potatoes and delicious French toast. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow, challenging to stay connected , but it didn't detract significantly from my experience overall.

The double room w/ private bathroom was decent, but honestly, the lack of any, well, personalized service was shocking. I mean, a little welcome gift wouldn't hurt. WiFi was slow, which really hampered my plans. I almost wanted to leave a good review, until i remembered they didn't even acknowledge my presence, astonishing.

Nestled among massive pines, we experienced true tranquility at this charming retreat. The Yew Suite was a masterpiece of craftsmanship and offered amazing views. Breakfast crafted by Mark was excellent, with delicious crepes. Keep an eye out for deer as you leave. It's a magical start to your day.

I loved relaxing in the cozy double room, which had a comfy bed and a lovely outdoor terrace perfect for morning coffee. The fire pit and garden seating were great spots to unwind after our day out. Just a heads-up, the WiFi can be a bit slow, but it didn’t take away from the charm of the place! 🌲

Recommend for a short stayover

Spacious suite, tranquil setting, with a comfortable king-size bed and an immaculate bathroom with heated floors, awesome for a relaxing escape after a day of exploring while being just 39 km from the nearest airport.

Staying with friends was a great experience! We enjoyed walking on the logging trail and loved the cozy outdoor seating to relax. Mark's breakfast with homemade pancakes was a highlight. The sliding doors in our room offered amazing views, and we appreciated the small fridge for drinks. It's perfect for a peaceful getaway or a weekend trip to nearby wineries.

The only downside was that we felt the whole experience didn't have that personal touch we hoped for. It would've been nice to be welcomed more warmly.

I couldn't believe the value for money at this place! The room was fine, with a rustic design, made me feel like I was in a cabin in the woods. The location was perfect, surrounded by fresh air and beautiful nature. The staff treated us with such warmth and hospitality, making us feel right at home.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was if they had more vegetarian options.
